We have often come to the sable, the food is the culmination. No matter if it is schnitzel, meter sausage or game specialties, everything is very tasty.

Especially the "blue trout" was very good! The entertainment, however, was rather rough.

A very rustic menu without modern offers for vegetarians and vegans. But for that the meat is from home and certainly from happy animals; and you can taste it too. You get what you expect when you enter such an inn!

A great super tasty meat shop 👍 I like to go there when I'm around! From pork to game everything you could wish for! From fresh to hung, in a glass or in the intestine ... all super delicious ... I will definitely come back!

The service, which was obviously overwhelmed due to their age, was so unfriendly that you would not recommend this place to anyone, unfortunately, zero stars are not possible as a rating

As always good, unfortunately the onions in the schnitzel of the same name were cut a little inexpertly.

Butcher very good - inn satisfactory We visited the butcher shop on Holy Saturday 2017. The selection of sausage specialties from the Rhön is small but fine! The sausages of roe deer, deer and wild boar deserve special mention. We tried and bought deer salami - a real treat! Also the boiled mettwurst and the boar liver sausage (both in a glass) are really, really delicious! It is not for nothing that the Zobel country butcher was named one of the 500 best butchers in Germany by the trade magazine 'Der Feinschmecker' in 2015! The attached inn offers home-style cuisine. The baked trout with potatoes and salad was huge (min. 400 grams) price € 15.50 The meatloaf with roasted onions and salad costs € 8.90 (also a huge portion) Both dishes were very tasty! The best thing in the inn is the beer from the 'Kreuzberg Monastery' from the Bavarian Rhön, which is served here on tap. This delicious dark beer deserves 6 stars !!
